Sete Rios is one of the largest transfer stations in Lisbon. How do I get from airport to Sete Rios bus station by bus?
There is a bus line 2 between Lisbon airport and Sete Rios. It leaves relatively frequently (depending on the day of the week every 10-20 minutes), and the trip takes about 20 minutes. A ticket purchased from the driver costs 2 euros, if you have a Viva Viagem card the cost is 1.50 euros (+0.50E for making the card if you don’t have one).
How to get from Lisbon airport to Sete Rios bus station by metro?
The metro station is located at the entrance to the airport (there is a large parking lot just outside the metro entrance). Unfortunately, there is no direct metro access from the airport to Sete Rios.
First we have to take the Linha Vermelha line towards Sao Sebastião, get off at the last stop (Sao Sebastião) and change to the Linha Azul line towards Reboleira, then get off after two stops at Jardim Zoológico. Directly from the metro station we can walk to the bus station. Note, we can do all this by buying just ONE Viva Viagem ticket (1.50 Euro + 0.50 E for making). Between stations, there is no need to leave the metro or bounce the card again – the lines are side by side.
